Responsible Investment ยังคงเป็นหนึ่งในเป้าหมายสำคัญของ Eastspring เราได้ทบทวนเส้นทางการเปลี่ยนแปลงที่เกิดขึ้นตลอดช่วงที่ผ่านมา และสรุปสิ่งที่เราได้ทำเพื่อพัฒนาแนวทางการลงทุนให้ลึกขึ้น พร้อมมองหาแนวคิดและนวัตกรรมใหม่ ๆ ที่จะช่วยขับเคลื่อนการเปลี่ยนแปลงอย่างยั่งยืน
เรายังคงเดินหน้าสร้างความเป็นผู้นำด้าน Responsible Investment ในเอเชีย ด้วยการเป็นเจ้าของที่มีความรับผิดชอบ (active ownership) โดยทีมลงทุนของเราทั่วภูมิภาคใช้ความเชี่ยวชาญและความรู้ในท้องถิ่นในการพูดคุยกับบริษัทต่าง ๆ และใช้สิทธิ์ออกเสียงในที่ประชุมผู้ถือหุ้น
เราได้ลงลึกมากขึ้น เพื่อแสดงให้เห็นว่าแต่ละทีมพิจารณาประเด็น ESG อย่างไรในกระบวนการลงทุน และให้ภาพชัดเจนขึ้นว่าเราทำอะไรบ้างในการจัดการกับประเด็น ESG ที่สำคัญในแต่ละวัน
นวัตกรรมเป็นสิ่งที่ช่วยชี้นำเส้นทางของเราไปสู่ความเป็นผู้นำในอุตสาหกรรม เราใช้จุดแข็งของเราในการพัฒนาและปรับปรุงกระบวนการ Responsible Investment ให้ดียิ่งขึ้น พร้อมนำข้อมูลและเทคโนโลยีมาใช้เพื่อรับมือกับการเปลี่ยนแปลงของตลาดและประเด็น ESG ที่สำคัญ
เรายังได้เริ่มโครงการภายในเพื่อพัฒนากระบวนการพูดคุยกับบริษัทต่าง ๆ (engagement) ให้เข้มแข็งและมีประสิทธิภาพมากขึ้น อีกทั้งยังขยายขอบเขตของหัวข้อที่เรามุ่งเน้น โดยเพิ่ม "ความหลากหลายทางชีวภาพ" (Biodiversity) เข้าไปในโครงการการพูดคุยแบบมีธีม (Thematic Engagement Programme)
เพื่อความโปร่งใส เราได้แบ่งปันความคืบหน้าและข้อมูลเชิงลึกจากการทำงานภายใต้ธีมหลักของเรา รวมถึงการพูดคุยเกี่ยวกับการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศในภูมิภาคเอเชีย
ปี (2023)เราจบปีด้วยการลดการปล่อยคาร์บอนลง 50% ซึ่งเป็นผลจากความพยายามของทีมลงทุนและทีมความยั่งยืนที่มุ่งสนับสนุนเส้นทางสู่อนาคตที่เป็นมิตรต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม
Prudential ซึ่งเป็นพันธมิตรของเรา ได้ปรับเป้าหมายการลดคาร์บอนของพอร์ตลงทุนระยะกลาง โดยตั้งเป้าลดความเข้มข้นของคาร์บอน (WACI) ลง 55% ภายในปี 2030 เทียบกับฐานปี 2019 ซึ่งเราให้การสนับสนุนเป้าหมายใหม่นี้ และจะร่วมมือกับ Prudential ต่อไป เพื่อผลักดันโครงการที่ช่วยให้เกิดการเปลี่ยนผ่านอย่างเป็นธรรมและครอบคลุม
